Floral rucksack

Aaah!  I just bought a new rucksack and I love it so much!  My sister gave me the money to buy it as a Christmas gift.  It was originally $48 but it was on sale so it was only $30!  It looks really small on the outside but the inside quite spacious.  I can fit all my school stuff and PE clothes - a 1 inch binder, 3 notebooks, 3 folders, 2 books (not textbooks), my pencil case, 2 shirts, leggings, and my running shoes!  Now the only reason why I want to go back to school is so that I can use this!

DIY Project #2: high waisted shorts!

I was finally able to make myself a pair of high waisted denim shorts!  I'm really happy with the way they turned out.  I bought a pair of mom jeans from Goodwill for only $2.  Then I cut the legs off and ta-da!

2011 Fashion Trends I HATE

I hate it when people dress up a certain way because it's trendy or "in".  Style is a way of expressing yourself, not society.  Yes, of course it's fine to like a trend because you genuinely like it but not because it's what others find nice!  But the following trends are ones that I just. can't. stand.

1.  Lita heels.

I HATE these heels so much!  I hate even having a picture of them on my blog.  I see nothing nice about these heels.  I mean, yeah, if you want varicose veins, go ahead and wear these!

2. Crosses.

What is so fashionable about wearing a cross?  It's just like wearing a rosary as a necklace.  HATE IT.

3. Black lace tops.

How much tackier can you get?

DIY Project #1

Just finished my first successful DIY project.  I made a tank top and added a leopard print pocket.  Here's how I did it:

Step 1:  Get a plain white (or whatever color you want) t-shirt

Step 2: Cut off sleeves and alter the neckline

Step  3: Sew/add on whatever design you want

Step 4: Make any other alterations wanted

And you're done!
